"Rare Bird" Mississippi River Pearl Splash Ring

Wing shaped pearls like this Mississippi River one form along the back of the shell, whereas "baroque" pearls form in the heel of the shell. Mississippi River pearls are exceedingly rare. When Gail got the chance to acquire some, the splash technique was the first place she turned to for inspiration for the pearl's setting for a ring.
