You've heard of white opal, you may have heard of black opal, but have you ever heard of pink opal? Pink opal is sometimes called Andean Opal, Peppermint Candy Stone, or Angelskin Opal and is usually opaque. The gentle pink-colored opal in this strand was mined in Peru, where most of the best pink opal is found. The length is just right to wear the strand by itself, or with a pendant suspended from it (using Gail's "U-catch" — part of the JBG Catch System).
