The deep tones of a sky filled with orangey-pink hues just before sunset are found in this lovely strand of translucent rhodocrosite beads.
The main deposits of Rhodocrosite have developed in as stalagmites in the silver mines of the Incas since they were abandoned in the 13th century. It is found in Argentina and Colorado.
Set up in the JBG catch system, "jump rings" at each end of the strand accommodate either the "S" catch for wearing the strand as seen, or the "U" catch that supports pendants. One catch is included in the price shown. The second catch is an additional $85.
