"Natural Evolution" Azurite/Malachite Pendant

Azurite — malachite is a combination of both azurite and malachite. Azurite is a soft, deep blue copper mineral produced by weathering of copper ore deposits. Malachite is more "oxidized" than azurite. The increased oxidation, which happens at a later stage of the growth of the two minerals, is what causes the blue azurite to turn to green malachite.
